Get Involved with a Good Cause at the Ahimsa House Walk, Wag, n Run 5K
The Annual Ahimsa House Walk, Wag, n Run 5k and one-mile fun run is an event to draw support and benefit the Ahimsa House. The Ahimsa House works to address the links between domestic violence and animal abuse. The Walk, Wag n' Run allows Atlanta residents to show their concern and support for domestic violence victims across the state.
The 5k race is chip timed and is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and runs through Lenox Park in Brookhaven. The course has flat to rolling hills on tree lined roads around the park with downhill finish inside beautiful Lenox Park over the dam.
Pace your pet at the Ahimsa House Walk, Wag, n' Run. Everyone is encouraged to bring their dogs for these runs to benefit the animal and human victims of domestic violence. The funds raised support a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, veterinary care, and legal advocacy.
